Catch Me crossing Banderas Bay

Private boat tours on Banderas Bay

Banderas Bay is one of the largest bays in the Pacific. A four-hour tour sees a corner of it; a full day sees the good part.

A cruising day is about where people sit, and the Sundancer's cockpit is the best seat on either boat. Take Catch Me if the group is over twenty.

The bay is bigger than it looks

From Marina Vallarta the south shore opens up past Los Arcos toward the villages that have no road in — the ones you can only reach by water. How far down you get is a function of hours, not ambition. Four hours is a swim and a snorkel; eight is a proper crossing with time to stop.

Your route, not a schedule

There is no fixed itinerary on a private charter. Tell the captain what you want out of the day — quiet water, a beach, snorkelling, somewhere to eat — and he will build the run around the conditions that morning, which is something no printed schedule can do.

Common questions
Can we choose where we go?
Yes. These are private charters with no fixed itinerary. The captain will advise what is realistic in your hours and what the water is doing that day.
How long should we book?
Four hours is comfortable for a swim and a snorkel close to town. Six or eight hours is what you want if you intend to get down the south shore and back without rushing.
Is it a shared tour?
No. Every charter is the whole boat for your group only.
